The various channels of food assistance served just over 11,000 people in the five counties of north central Idaho. Each person served had their own story – some were seniors living on a fixed income. Some lost income directly due to COVID and others indirectly when their kids being at home prevented them from working. Some families had parents working multiple jobs, but not earning enough to make ends meet. In the end, the change that all clients experienced was a better ability to meet their basic human need for food. |
